Times Square CNY Decorations : The one with the huge tree

Its almost that time of the year again ! The time when we single forever alone people receive angpows from those married uncles and aunties. Hahaha. Ok not funny. So I went to Times Square just now, (the one in Bukit Bintang, not the one in New York), and amazed by this huge tree ;

This tree is a part of their Chinese New Year decorations. It is almost two-stories high, and it is located in front of the main entrance.  Although i was quite amazed with this tree, everything else, not so. Apart from the tree, what you can see here are ; lanterns, gazebos, plastic flowers, and thats it. Nothing else.

I love these flowers though. Sakura ?

The view from Level 1. Too simple (--_)

Inside the gazebo. Dunno what is purpose of this weird thing.

More lanterns ;

And more flowers.

The decorations are too simple for my liking. Yes, they are very clean, but I was expecting something else, something fun, like dragons, and dragons that breath fire. That will be very very cool ! This year is the year of dragon pun kan ?
